Decree 20/2025/ND-CP: Reforms on related party with financial transaction

Decree 20/2025/ND-CP, effective March 27, 2025, amends Decree 132/2020/ND-CP, refining criteria for identifying related parties in guarantees, loans, and other financial transactions by assessing control, ownership, and dependency. It also strengthens the State Bank’s role in overseeing tax management related to related-party transactions, replaces Appendix I with a revised version, and introduces transitional rules for allocating non-deductible interest from 2020–2023. Applicable from the 2024 tax period onward.
